General Information
The purpose of this training course is to offer to the participants the opportunity to attend a series of key lectures given by experts in the field of distributed fibre optics sensing. The course will offer a general introduction on all the theoretical concepts relevant in distributed sensing, from scattering physics to the ground science of all the necessary components and the overall performance of the systems and the system limitations as a function of the different parameters.
Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance, which can be changed to ECTS credits, as well as on-line access to all course material.
The price of the training event is 200€. This registration fee includes lunch, coffee breaks, a touristic visit around Alcalá de Henares city and social events laying a platform for networking opportunities.
